They may find a way around it. I once walked 40,000 blocks out from the spawn to the MPO, and the MPO is way bigger across itself than just 10,000 blocks. If that was done, it'd need to be way harsher.
The point is that it’s less aggressive than a ban, and still serves as a time out. Remember the good old days when mods would kick someone to get their attention? Consider this the next step up from there. I, too, believe it would be fun, but people who enjoy long walks without town chat aren’t the ones getting banned, now are they?
