You're right. It can be, but (in the U.S.) the majority of Christians and over a third of non-religious people do get married eventually, and that's not even counting the people who are under 18, and/or are dating for life without any marriage involved.
Yeah m y best friend LJ is gay too and he wants love too but very few guys are out at our school. Some ppl wait until later in life to come out. I understand as much as i think i could without being a gay teenager
He's fortunate to have allies at the very least. And has he tried (if possible) going to youth groups, pride events, or if possible, GSAs at a bigger school nearby? Because I'm trying some of those things and will attempt the rest if given the chance.
If nothing else works, I'd recommend for him to look for activities in the nearest major city - that can improve your odds too, and I almost did that.
Also, it does seem like you really understand. My friends are very open-minded, and while most of my family is conservative, my parents aren't and only a minority of my family members are homophobic.
Yes and no. We live in a pretty conservative area and there arent any GSAs at my school or any nearby ones. He can certainly find guys in the most unlikely of places xD but they say that theyre gay and theyre not or even worse have girlfriends and hes tired of it.
Then he may need to look in a nearby major city. And I had to deal with that "false offer" situation once too, but I had issues with the guy since I met him and he was single.
