Didn't watch Supergirl because that show bores me to tears, did watch Flash, but was extremely underwhelmed.

The Fash finale was fine, it just didn't surprise me in any way whatsoever. I called every single part of that finale like a month ago.

Even the HR part?

I think the entire HR thing put the emotional build episode 22 of the Flash S3 to waste. I expected the HR thing to happen but was really disappointed with it. After that up until the actual final showdown with Savitar the episode really felt like a filler episode not a finale. The final showdown was good, it was awesome to see all the speedsters fighting.

Yeah, the HR thing was obvious a mile off. The ability to change your appearance had been brought up and then mysteriously never talked about again. He talked about how he didn't contribute to the team, this was going to be pretty much the only way he could do it. Plus they have to ditch him for next season because no Wells is a regular for more than one season.

Pretty sure it's in Tom's contract. The finale looked fine, it just didn't throw me for any loops or invoke any real emotion in me because I saw nearly every single thing coming.
