A little story from a 'new driver' in my area of town. 17 years old, just got learners permit. At 3 am was clocked doing 160 in a 70 zone. Got 22 points, suspended license, 2k in fines, also lied about his identity to the cops who later found his real name (so add on criminal charges for that). Dude is cooked for a long while :D
Good lord Kloned ._. First off, he should count himself lucky that the only weight he has to carry on his shoulders are the thoughts of him being a complete and utter twat. Luckily he didn't harm both him or anyone around him.
On a side note, my car only tops out at 80ish so I'm all good ;) If the motorway has a slight incline I'm stuck at 60 :P
@Kloned: lol well job to him, an exellent example of how to mess up your life in just a few minutes :D
@Matt: not yet, but will be soon :D First time I can do the exam is in about 7 months (holy crap time flies :O), and I can start taking lessons in a little over 1 month :D I'll plan it so that I can hopefully take my exam just after I turn 17. ;)
Ooooohhhh a Panda :D I love those cars :D I was on holidays in Italy a few days ago, saw tonnes of them... I love them! Always makes me happy seeing one ;)
It's the smaller and older brother of my dad's old car (Fiat Uno from 1989 :D pretty much this, but the 3 door variant, and perhaps a slightly ligher grey:
While on holidays my dad and I thought about whether it would be reasonable to import one from Italy to here... biggest problem still turns out to be cost, since we don't really need a second car, as we don't use normal car much in the first place :P But, maybe when I get my license, we could try getting one... :D
