    EU referendum lol.

In the event somebody identifies as a European citizen (which I do), you're going to have to have grounds to apply for another citizenship from an EU country if we leave.

If we leave, if I ever hope to be a European citizen again, I'm going to have to apply for Irish or Spanish citizenship (Spanish is a long shot, Irish is kind of likely) and claim it by descent, which will enable me to freely move to where I want to go (at this point in time; Belgium or Germany). If I manage to spend a decade in those countries, I can renounce previous citizenship and claim one from that country.

I was also kinda poking fun at a Twitter debate I saw lol, where somebody argued you can't be European and British at the same time, and another argued being a 'European Citizen' is not possible because the 'EU isn't an entity'.

If you like things being organised and of quality, go to Germany.
If you like things being not organised and of quality, go to Belgium.
:P (generalising a bit of course)

Germany sounds overly organised, Belgium sounds way too poorly organised. Both countries do things to an amazing standard. It's why I'm so conflicted (although I shouldn't be, I have one Belgian friend and like, 3-4 German friends, which I think may be more than I have in my homeland lol).

What part/aspect of Germany do you think is overly organised?

And yes, while Belgium can be beautiful, and the people can be really nice (not saying this doesn't go elsewhere), it indeed is poorly organised in many ways, e.g. the highways often bouncy like crazy (couldn't think of a Hood word, just bad quality), and the infrastructure around them is trash generally (like many things make the slightest sense, or are poorly laid out).

Germany's overly organised thing is the horror stories of the paper work you go through to do anything. And also the whole 'absolutely no jaywalking, even if there's no cars' thing I've heard of.

Actually, for someone whose what is probably my best friend being German, I know nothing about life there xD
