So, I've been away for about 3 days-ish now, and in that time I've been thinking about how much time I actually spend infront of a computer, playing this game. And it adds up to quite a lot. Now, I never thought I'd be saying this... But I'm actually considering leaving... Now, to Fin particularly don't go taking my promos yet xD it's just an idea :P
because I'm spending so much time on this server, I'm not spending as much time with my family. There's lots of other reasons as well, I could make a big list. Just speaking my thoughts out loud... Kinda
But if you don't really do anything, and aren't really enjoying all those hours, then I suggest you to continue voting (if you do), and log in just once per two weeks. Do this for a couple of months or whatever, and then I'm sure EMC will start growing for you again. And if not, just wait a little longer. :)
This is where the art of balance comes in. Yes you can leave and the online community will miss you, but would you truly be happy? or just end up resenting your family for losing a part of what you enjoy.
You need to learn to moderate yourself and balance your daily schedules.
Start by limiting yourself to 2 hours of playtime a day and see how it goes. If you feel you're still spending too much time here then you can cut it more. If the family/friends/everything else still leaves space then EMC is here for you to spend time on, or indeed other games and servers.
Yeah, true. It's not like I'm not enjoying EMC anymore, I am. And I would miss you all. Maybe I could just resent to not coming on as often. Thanks for the edvice =}
You should try to limit your playtime, like many other people say. However, one way that you can also get in enough exercise, is whenever you turn on Minecraft, begin a timer. For example, start a time for half an hour. After the half hour, you may want to go shopping, or maybe you can go to take a swim.
But be sure to always take breaks. Also, you may want to sit in front of the desk. This is because when you are sitting in bed or something, you may get too comfy, and you won't be able to control yourself. So, you should be sitting in an environment that you aren't to comfortable in.
Being on the Empire is a choice that you made. Although you may want to leave, and the rest of us will miss you, you must be in consider, that family, friends, and things that are required in your life are most important. However, there will always be time for you to be playing on the computer...
Just limit the time there. Empire Minecraft is a time for you to unwind though, it's a time for you to relax, be with some of your friends online. However, if your decision is to leave the Empire, then so be it. I've considered it many times before to leave, but I just manage to limit myself. I even got my first D on my report card
Probably because I was spending too much time on the computer. If you think that the Empire is getting in your way, set certain days that you may want to play. For example:
Monday: You go out for a swim
Tuesday: You go shopping with friends
Wednesday: Soccer practice
Thursday: You spend time with your family
Friday: Free day, you spend time on the Empire.
To enjoy and be a prominent member of the empire you don't have to spend much time. If we somehow haven't swayed you then, as I am sure you'll know, we will ALL be sad to see you go and everyone may die and EMC will turn into dystopia and then the server storage will set alight and burn down the entire of America and then there will be a nuclear war over the land and everyone will die.
Well,thanks for the edvice, I'll try it. It's not really the only reason I was thinking of leaving. There are others, however they're a little deep lol xD
