Daz Studio will work easily on Win10. The only question though is if it'll do what you're trying to achieve here. It'll do fine for still images and animations, but I'm not too sure about using it game development. I don't have experience with game development.
Still... Can't help wonder if Blender could be an option here. Its an open source tool, so you might be able to use it as a platform to build your game on. Then let Blender work out the graphics and scenery (rendering).
Well just 3-D creations with a game, maybe like an hour or 2 game, along with inserting some code in it. I mean, I can't make a game without code :P
I just want to use Daz just to learn how to do 3D development. Then I can go onto the Unreal Engine 4 or Source. Maybe Unity if it isn't malware like it is supposed to be XD
Daz Studio is an excellent tool for modelling already existing figures, but it won't allow you to edit any (so actually change things). I use Hexagon for that, but that's not free. There is quite a large variety of these tools, Blender being the most commonly known which is freely available.
