Even if they're throwing them out to another villager (who is unreachable, btw)? That's stupid. It's a hassle to continuously rehatch villagers in an autofarm.
Yea, it is a hassle. Newer designs only allow the villager to get small amounts of the plants and take the rest away immediately, so if you want your auto farms to be functioning at 100% I recommend you rebuild them with some of the newer designs.
