Pretty much every country in the world does that. At least they're not like the United States, who perform illegal airstrikes, start illegal and unjust wars, and use other methods of warfare that are also illegal :)
Just noting that I don't condone bombing Syria, even if ISIS is there. If we do that and actually destroy the Islamic State, a new, more brutal terrorist group headed by ex-ISIS militants and leaders will crop up 1-2 years later, and we'll be in the same situation again.
Is there such a thing as "legal airstrikes?" If a life is taken, does it matter how it was taken? I'm not really concerned with the manner we use to protect citizens from ISIS, so long as we actually do protect our citizens.
No, there isn't a thing such as 'legal' airstrikes, hence why I put the 'illegal' part there. If a life is taken, it doesn't matter how it's taken, it's still wrong, especially if it's a civilian. And I'm concerned with how ISIS are being repelled: it's not actually protecting anyone. It's just accelerating the rate at which a stronger terrorist group come along and kill thousands more people.
There are some minor errors in the videos, and they also fail to mention the US and some European countries armed the terrorists so they could get rid of Russian-backed democratically elected (still messed up) governments.
