Well snow golems don't do anything but attack hostile mobs yet don't really hurt them yet they aren't allowed in town so yeah. I doubt iron golems will be allowed. And I already know there are going to be some people who will try and build them and then get really mad when the iron disappears

Iron golem, similar to snow golems, cannot be created in town as they're classified as "monsters" and will disappear immediately after you place the blocks to make them.
