Boosses being easier

Me and my JZH1000 found momentous, the giant boss. I lost all of my god armor and weapons fighting that guy, almost made me QUIT EMC!!! when we killed him... we got 6 zombie heads loads of zombie virus and something else. No wood sword. This boss made me get barly any sleep the next night from the sadness of the loss. It would have been worth it if I got the sword, but no. It sucking me in and summoning all the enraged zombies made it so hard even with prot 4 armor and a sharp 5 sword.

I think the bosses are fairly easy. Just have a bucket of water with you to put out fire from enraged zombies. Stand far away so you can shoot him with a bow and arrows. Always have fire resistance and instant health potions. I always take a few gold apples with me. Took me and a friend about 5 minutes to kill a momentus and we didn't die once. The toothpick is a very rare drop, so be happy with the drops you did get.

I'm going to be honest here, the moment that any game makes you get "barely any sleep" as a result of what happened in it, is probably the moment you take a little break from it, for your own good.

That's just the thing, any attack on Momentus will draw you in, so a bow and arrow doesn't quite help lol

well... JZH1000 shot him to death when he was out of Momentus's sight, that doesn't pull you in

A boss is meant to be a boss, a scary, dangerous creature. Not just a easy way to get special items. Think of it like the mob arena. You participate for fun, and know most likely you will not earn more than your lost, but still you can think it's worth it, cause it's fun.

Next time you just need to fight better

The bosses are supposed to be a rare thing to find and not easy to fight. That's why it's called a boss. When you go to fight a boss be prepared to possibly die or bring lots of healing equipment such as healing potions and regen potions. Also you could set your spawn in the wild with a bed that way if you die then you won't be too far away from where you died and you can pick up your stuff.

No offence, but I think you either need to go with someone else or arrange the loot deal before you fight

You seem to forget the meaning of "Boss" when it comes to enemies.

op mobs, BUT I think they are way too op

... I think that for what is in store for 1.6, they are a lot less than over powered...

It would not be fun if they were less powerful

a boss is a hard for a reason, as it was stated they are not ment to be hand-outs for amazing gear. If you can't earn it as is, then you are not ment to have it

also don't party with some one that cant share or you don't fully trust

Unfortunately, there is a point when End-Game is too OP.. :\

not true he cant draw you in if you arent in his range i just posted this on the emc survival update thread i beat him with this armor and a god bow:

just stay out of his range and protect yourself in one way or another from enraged (i used a tower) and youll do fine

it did take like over 100 arrows tho

I get the point now, I am trying to find the skeleton boss, Marlix. I would like a admin to delete this post.
