[Buying] Beacon(s)

Discussion in 'Products, Businesses, & Services Archives' started by FrozenForger, Nov 28, 2012.

  1. just because it would interfere with your reselling business (which seems a little shoddy to me) doesn't mean i shouldn't help the original poster of this thread.
  2. Your English is fine, i can understand you perfectly. This is a community. We look out for each other. If we didnt, we would be a terrible excuse of a community. Ok, so he posted on that thread, and knew of that offer. Me posting the link didnt bring any new information to the table... A good community member will stop someone from getting whats seen as a bad deal.

  3. But You Would not like if You are selling a diamond for 500r to tell the buyer that another guy sells then for 40r. You will be furious with me because I interferred and I ruined your business. Maybe he could have bought it for 26k and I could have earned some money. This is the problem that You ruined my business. ( correct my mistakes if i have because i dont speak very well)
  4. The point is that you are trying to overcharge someone for an item, and they are telling them where they can get it for cheaper. They are more than within their rights to tell people where they can find good deals. If I see someone overcharging for an item, I do exactly the same thing. Do you think it's fair to the person on the other end of the deal to buy something well over market value, and then find out how much they overpaid?

That's the whole thing behind investments, sometimes they are good, sometimes they aren't. You might find someone willing to pay 26k for a beacon, but chances are they will know that's overpriced, or someone will undercut you on it.
  5. your english is better than half the people here im not sure why you are worrying...
first off your example should be a lesson for improvement not chastising people. if i sold a diamond at 500 and some guy sold at 40, i would drop my price down to 40 as well, despite what i bought it for.
also a proper business will not buy from another retailer as they have a markup. try going to walmart and buying some soap. you pay 3$ for a pack of 4 bars. then you go try to sell it to somebody for 5$, not only will they think its creepy but they will also know they can get it cheaper. thats why wholesalers like amcon sell stuff directly from factories. places like costco buy from amcon (not really) but then get a discount for buying so much so they can sell it at only a slightly higher price than amcon.
  6. My son would like to know if you would like to buy a candy bar. Only $5 and the proceeds go for band uniforms.

  7. I wanted to sell it for 26k because if not i make no deal. If he was happy with the price althought is overpriced is no my problem. I can sell things the price I want and if someone want to buy an expensive thing I dont care because is better for me. Apart from that, he interferred in other discussion Also and he critiziced(idk if is the correct spelling) me. Ok, yes I wanted to sell something overpriced. Maybe he couldnt have noticas it was overpriced and I could have earned a lot of money.
  8. Facu, Facu, Facu... From one businessman to another, a good business deal should leave both the buyer and seller satisfied. If someone buys an overpriced item, they are likely to be unhappy.

Some people will consider it the price to pay to educate themselves. Some will hold it against you and not do business with you again or tell others about your ethics. Some people will consider these the same thing and do both.

Pd: sorry for the horrible english I am studying I will do Fce
  10. A greedy, uncaring businessman will eventually have little or no business at all.
  11. Pab10s couldn't say it better. The community on this server operates as a unit, and people will go out of their way to make sure the get the best price, or the most they can. Everyone helps each other out. When we see someone trying to sell something that's overpriced, it's in our nature to tell them where to get it cheaper. It's the right thing to do.

What you're doing to yourself right now is building a negative reputuation. You're saying that you want to make excessive money off of someone's ignorance of the market. 4,000 rupees may seem like a lot to you right now (the difference between market value at 22k and the 26k you wanted), but I assure you your reputation is worth much much more.

Trying to overcharge someone might make you that 4k today, but at the cost of people not doing business with you in the future. Down the road that 4k will be a pittance, but those people will still remember when you tried to rip someone off.

  16. Get ready for a terrible Google translation (you probably already did this)!

Pab10s no podría decirlo mejor.

  17. I understood all of pab but not of You. What is harsh? How did You know that I was argentinian ?
  18. I think you said it in another thread. Nothing was harsh, but people who are used to English sarcasm might see it as harsh
  19. I mean: What Does harsh mean?
  20. Your English is just fine, I can understand you perfectly.
I have seen worse from some users, when they speak English.

And in regards to this topic at hand, it's just how out quite wonderful economy works, we look out for each other here.
I myself bought 2 wither skulls for 10k each a few days after the update and understand they are worth about half that and that I can buy a whole beacon for about that price.
