IcecreamCow gives Creative Mode on EMC

Whilst searching through old footage over the weekend I found this gem. Recorded using Fraps, it shows old names like IcecreamCow, JackBiggin, Faithcaster, Wipple4, Hashhog, etc from over 11 years ago at a public gathering. As many of you may have noticed, the armour I wore at the time was a promo to celebrate EMC hitting 60,000 members. That very armour set today is worth millions and portrays the benefit of holding onto promos.

is the old empire shop still accessible on 9? i recall it being able to be accessed back in like 2017-2018

Move is turned off for it on all other smps... So I doubt it is.

why did they close the empire shop?

‘ The player markets are strong enough that the need to spawn in items just isn't there and the majority of people that use it are new players who don't understand the player market prices just yet. We've already had to adjust prices a few times because we were influencing the player market, something the Empire Shop was never meant to do. The market simply wasn't applicable when the Empire Shop was originally purposed. So, as of shortly after the New Year, the /shop location will be replaced with something else.’ -2017

2017 was one of the golden years with plenty of players being able to satisfy the demand of the server, so they removed the store in 2017. /shopworld was later added in order to have a place to buy certain custom items.

plus you still can buy some common items at any spawn location

dang was it really 2017? i totally thought it was earlier than that. man i feel old lol
