How to spawn Blizz Ard in town?

  1. Hi and happy new year :)
I'm trying to spawn a snow golem on one of my residence's using Blizz Ard's arm. I get the message "It's not cold enough to use this here...". There's nothing on the wiki page about temperature or spawn requirements. But I have changed the res biome to one of the coldest.

I have a vague memory of trouble spawning one in last time I tried but that was years ago and I don't remember what the conditions ended up being to make it work.

    Does anyone know? Thanks!

  2. I'm pretty sure it has to be a fully snowy/icy biome, not just cold. Either it has to be freezing at sea level like it is in snowy plains or you have to be above the snow line if it's only freezing above certain elevations like in windswept hills.
  3. I'm pretty sure you just need to place down a snow block and spawn it on that. I would try that first before spending tokens on biome change. I spawned a bunch when they came out and can't see myself using a cold biome when I had water on the res.

  4. Just place snow down first then spawn the snowperson.

  5. Thanks, I'll try the snow block! I already paid for a few biome changes but that's OK, what else are tokens for? ;)

  6. Avalaunchers. I've suggested changing the promo seasonally. But yeah. If you're concerned your water will freeze, you could light and/or cover it.

  7. Just a fyi.. snow golems (emc), using Blizz Ard parts, can be spawned on a snow block in any biome but will immediately die if spawned in a hot biome such as a desert etc.. it doesn't have to be a cold or snow biome. I hope this helps! =D
