I enjoyed EMC for many years and it is great to have been a part of this server, I have amassed a large collection in my time here - a lot of it unfortunately lost to my museum being forceclaimed some time ago - but I must be honest with myself and say the last few years I've never truly got back into playing so it's time to hand out the wealth and let others enjoy what I had! I joined EMC roughly 11 years ago and I have made many friends in that time so a big thanks to everyone involved. I want to thank all the staff I worked with in my later playing years, all the staff and developers that made the game what it was, and all the players I crossed paths with that made this such an enjoyable experience. In recent years I have been rather obsessed with cars, moving into 6 years of professional mechanic work but now working in another sector, working with my YouTube channel and car collecting on the side. Its always sad to see a major member of our community leave but I hope you the best in whatever your future holds =D As for the giveaway, my favorite part of EMC is the community. I've made so many friends and met so many amazing people thanks to this server and the empire community is like 1 big family
It is sad to see you go at a time when many older players are coming back to see what 1.20 has brought to the server. Working with and collecting cars is fun too so best of luck with that adventure. My favorite part of EMC has to be the kindness and generosity of the players. My first encounter with this was when I started back in 2015. I was in the Waste and someone on horseback came running past then backed up and asked if I had any spare arrows. I gave them half of what I had then immediately got a message that the player gave me 10k, for spare arrows! I see it many times even now when someone is looking for an item then you just see the thank you message and don't worry about it. It's awesome and I try to follow the example set long ago.
I started playing emc, spent a week grinding 200k, bought an infimending bow and then fell into the void
Played EMC for a while On my Grimez and Sharpieee accounts before I lost access to them, Then CardInAction and MyGlazedDonuts helped me get started on my new account and provided many materials that may have been suspicious to TheCritic when he reached out to me one day lol
Sad to see you go good luck with your youtube channel tho! One memory I have with you was a long time ago when you were showing me around your museum when I had no clue what any of the promos meant or did lol
While I don't have a specific memory of you, I'm sad to see you go(or at least make it more "official" I've heard of several community members speak well of you. You and have will continue to be missed! One of my favorite parts about EMC is the friends I have made, not just the little friendships, but the ones that have carried over to feeling and being more 'real life'.
XD I was also like, 15, and was in a voice chat with you (fendy) which probably would have been mumble back in the day? Discord wasn't even a thing yet lol. I asked what your name stood for, you said "Fire Department New York" and I immediately thought to myself "yeeahhhh that was a dumb question." Anyway, I saw this post 10 minutes after you posted it, and couldn't decide what to talk about. And then just now I was cleaning out some old chests and found these Most of the renamed items I had in my vault got their names deleted at some point :/ I'm glad these survived! The unfortunate side effect of the way this giveaway is set up is we can't have discussions about all the memories/you can't reply to anything without clogging up the system
i do not have 1 favorite memory sadly i do not have screen shots of most of them since they hapened before i dit tink of taking a schreen shot or were not viseble from my side like the time ulti pig said in chat wen is daanhu coming on me joining radomly 2 seconds later with the text hello little piggy the Iron farm projecky with bryanm61 and probely99% of my time on emc can be seen as good time and good memorys
One of the previous staff that made EMC great! And also had some good conversations on discord with you. (maybe idk lol.) Also just hanging out with you and Anon as well in certain events in the past.
Hi! I think I am too new to have met you in game, and admittedly, my first weeks here are kind of a haze, as I was both kinda new to Minecraft (started playing just 3 months earlier) and especially to multiplayer servers. I like the community here, and the anti-grief plus the mods make it really worthwhile to build interesting stuff that will last
Sorry to see you go. I can't think of a specific memory but I remember you at events and some of your builds.
