If you want to change your Minecraft username, you can do that either on minecraft.net or on Mojang's website. EMC has no official affiliation with Mojang and can't do anything about your username. Once you change your username, it can't be changed to something else for 30 days
And in addition to what Jay2a said: the name of your outpost doesn't really matter too much where establishment is concerned. All that's important is that it is established and that you're the main owner. Even having a co-owner is good and all but it's mostly an internal affair of your outpost and doesn't necessarily directly concern staff.
It completely didn't occur to me that he could've been talking about outpost names and not usernames Either way, an answer was given I guess
Just post a comment on your outpost thread and then use the report button to make sure staff see it and ask them to change the name on the thread.
I meant at anytime, cause if it is in two or three months, who knows, perhaps they forgot about this thread.
Moved this to the correct forum (up one level). As others have said, report your approval thread and if no response within a few days, PM the staff member that approved it.

Now, I don't plan on chatting but I do have an important comment I'd like to share just in case (also because you're somewhat new). Please make sure that you don't (re)move the locked chest which you placed to establish the outpost without also contacting staff about it. They're using the coordinates of that chest as the center of your establishment and when it's suddenly gone then there is a chance that they can no longer look it up anymore. You probably know this already but I figured it wouldn't hurt to share. Once again, best of luck. Hope you're going to have a great time!
You should keep the chest there until the outpost is established and we would prefer you leave it there for future reference once established but outposts change and things can sometimes need to be moved. Don't forget, it can be anywhere from y=1-255 but please leave enough space for us to TP onto the sign (plus a block around it so we can get our bearings). I really don't need to die from suffocation again.
You bascially have a 1500-block radius to call your own and the centre of that radius is the coords of the chest. Your village, town or metropolis will hardly care if you are completely off-centre or surrounding it or whatever. Staff will only look at the coords we have registered on our spreadsheet for determining what your area is. At present the main use for establishing a base is to say to the world, "don't build near me without permission". If someone does and you have the opportunity to politely ask them to leave (if you want them gone), then you can. Starting a convo on the forums is the best way if you aren't in game at the same time. Still having troubles? Look for staff in-game or start a convo with a few of us here. You could also report your Outpost thread as that helps us to establish ownership quickly and any staff can see it.
