  1. I think that if people spam random characters in more than three messages within a one-minute period, the system should be programmed to auto-kick them. I suggest making the kick message something like (preferably in that color too) as shown below:

"Our chat filter has detected you spamming and was therefore programmed to kick you. Please stop now, or you may be muted or temp banned. Please read rules.emc.gs and/or contact the community manager(s) at pmcm.emc.gs if you are unsure of the rules."

    What do you think?

  2. I think this might be useful but I am gonna say +0 since I am neutral on this

  3. It's a good idea no doubt, but most of the time people who spam a character in chat all it takes is someone asking them not to spam. And for the small amount that don't learn or listen to your advice you could get a staff member involved and it's solved pretty easily.

I'm neither against your suggestion, but not for it either I'll go with a 0 because I wouldn't mind if this idea was implemented ^-^

  4. This would be useful if this was more of an issue but I think atm, not sure if this is really needed. For the most part people who've done this were asked to stop by others and they did so. Those that kept doing it were dealt with by staff. I think something like this might act as motivation to come back in 1 minute and do it more when they return. If it was more of an issue, I could see this but as it stands now (for me) I rarely see it enough to need this.

  5. We already have a system to auto-kick and ban spammers. If they persist or circumvent the system, ultimately staff still need to intervene (so /report if they do, and if they're spamming a public channel). I'm not sure what the exact requirements for a kick are, but I don't see much of a need for them to be tweaked personally

  6. OK. Thanks for the input. In that case, could you please close to the thread and add it to the list of denied suggestions?
