Hello All. Went to he nether yesterday to collect a gate keeper for my outpost, I got him into a mine cart and down the tracks he went... "yippie" happy me :} at this point I have him out of the mine cart standing in the Netherport, but He just stands there... He wont go through. I understand this is a mod-ed server and would like know if I'am just banging my diamond helmet against Netherrack or will he go through or I'am doing something wrong. I have brought Wither Skelies to the over world before named them and had them around for awhile, is the server Mod-ed to not allow me to bring back a "Friend"? LOL Thank You for your time. It is choosen to do that because the bad coding of vanilla minecraft wich makes enteties going through portals cause a lot, and I mean a lot, of lagg. If you propery aline the enieties and properly time everything, you can do it almost lagg-friendly indeed, but if someone who doesn't know how to do it starts automating cross-demention item transportation or something, lagg will be created. I beleve it also is done to make auto chunk-loading more dificult, but I'm not sure on that one.
The Portal stuff was disabled as there are many long time bugs in Minecraft that allows for Duplication.
You could always keep him in the nether if if works for you. Just put a name tag on it and it shouldn't despawn.
