I thought it would be just one building for the umbrella corp. We can have the city but I agree we should have it somewhere more outisde so it stand on its own and then connect it. Not using little toronto for it.
He set up base in Little Toronto, and Panad said in a post that he wanted to make a city based on it..

Thanks pandas. I added that one. The slideshow is based on a google+ / picasa album. I don't think I can allow others to directly upload there. You can either attach it to a page on the site and I will move it over or PM me and I will give you my email. Same goes for other people who want their screens in our slideshow. If possible provide captions and tell us which texture pack you are using.
TLDR version: If I was new and saw this place I'd think it was an empty lot. With the path and all. So I assume he just made a house there. Does not look bad too. If you wanted the area for some future stuff better put signs up. I had an area near the beach house to test stuff and people respected that. Rant version: What about it? From the setup with the path etc it looked like a free lot I guess. And he made a decent home. If you wanted to have the area reserved better put some signs on. We should try to keep the wild feeling. If we want to reserve a spot we should put signs and announce. Sure it would be nice if everyone contacted the neighbors before building. But with different times we get on and different languages this is hard. I like our basic set of rules which is more or less just the EMC rules. With that freedom comes the fact that we have to live with people building stuff we did not have in our vision of the place. There are things we agreed on and made sure are known like preserving the jungle. We can establish other rules like that. But we should not get freaked out about every new building close to one of ours or people making plans for some areas.
Ah, no, This was a completed building, I had no problems with it or anything. we built this area together and all. It doesn't look very whole atm. This path was originally for our use, so we don't have to negotiate the horrible terrain. then the path idea just expanded from there. edit: Please don't misunderstand me, I don't particularly mind if people start building a mud hut right above my roof or anything. I won't go anal about it.
Oh. I misread that then. I am really sorry. The rant then goes to the other neighbor disputes we are having. So the building got griefed?
Yep what Zulu just said I agree, where I build my house I know that in future I would get a lot of traffic and new house's around me.
Yeah. Still sorry I made that rant a reply to omelete because it was the wrong context. :/ Just wanted to say that new buildings and infrastructe will attract new people. Some of them might be awesome builders or community people that ask and some might not.

I don't think it's greifing at all(seeing as how mine is intact, I guess?lighting damage aside), but I really have no idea if it's under construction, half demolished, abandoned or what? I'm clueless here, I just saw him burning the wool off and that's about it. abandoned buildings can be taken down to open up space for one or two people, if they choose to build there. so confirming if I should place a sign or not.
