  1. In the past few years I have found a passion for photography. I took a class during my sophomore year in high school as a blow off class for one of my art credits that I needed to graduate, but that turned into something much more. One of my favorite things to do is to look at other photographers, whether it by professionals or my peers, and draw inspiration from them.

    The rules of this contest are simple:
    1. All contestants may enter a maximum of two photos.
    2. These photos must be actual photographs and not just snapshots
    3. All entries must be posted in the thread. No PM entries will be accepted.
    4. Please refrain from discussing entries.
    5. Any questions should be sent in a PM on the forums or asked in game.

    Prizes:
    1. 100,000r
    2. 50,000r
    3. 25,000r

    The contest will run from June 14th until July 1st. On July 1st, I will decide the winners and will distribute the prizes.

    Please keep in mind that photography is art and therefore is subjective. My opinions of photos do not determine if a photograph is good or bad.

    I look forward to seeing all of these entries! If you would like to see any of my work, I have posted many of my photographs here.

  9. Sorry this probs sounds proper dumb but are the photos we enter meant to be our own ones or ones from google that we like etc? I do photography at college and have a few photos i like but i don't think they could be better than any that people find on the web xd

  10. Your own photos. Some of my best photos were ones that I did not like at all. My photography teacher liked them and put them in an art show, where I won honorable mention on them. You may think your photos are not worth entering, but you have nothing to lose and everything to gain in entering them :)

  12. Okay, These were taken when i was in Cozumel Mexico. I dont have a Photography Camera, these are taken on a Sony HD Handy Cam for taking videos...

  16. okay, I love taking pictures of all the places I've gone to while road tripping around the U.S. but I do not have a quality camera and this was taken with my phone. The first is Pictured Rock in Michigan's U.P., the second is an overlook in Death Valley.

  18. I have got two submissions, I since can't choose myself...

    This photo is taken in Belgum, with my phone. And I find the image quality really annoying... But, it's token on a mountenbiking trip. I usually don't take photo's whilst MTB'ing, but for this one I really liked the colour green of the grass/moss, so I made a photo of it.


    This phooto is taken in Germany, not so far away from the highest point of germany. I really like the fog the rain gives, wich gives this a really misteriour feeling and the little group of people trying to get up (it ain't that difficult, but just the symbol) It btw is taken with my, I think, seven years old Kodak, wich was a really good camera at the time, but This are horrible condissions for making photo's, so the quality isn't really good still...

    This was taken in Roatan honduras when i was on vacation there... (Its where they film Pirates of the Caribbean!)
    {Was on a bus traveling to the resort, so sorry for the small light reflections}

    The first is a photo I took when my wife had to go to Cedar's Sinai hospital in Beverly Hills for surgery. They have a beautiful garden level that stretches around the U-shaped building where this artistic sculpture is located.



    This one is of a lemon orchard after a good rain, in Camarillo, CA not far from where I work.
