What is SMP8 doing during the reset? Protesting it.

The Staff probably won't take the protest seriously. The writers were very unprofessional with the signs they wrote. Not everybody, especially in the real-life job markets, are going to be considerate with this mess. They might completely ignore it. Their brains will filter the garbage out.
"Text talk" is to be used with friends and family, not for professionals, like server moderators.

Classic SMP8...

I can't speak for other Staff. But I take all things smp8 very serious. As a SMP6er I know that smp8 has a long history of marrying everyone. I fear that even brothers and sisters are married and reproducing on smp8.

I just want you all to know that protecting the waste is a great cause.

In my book and those of many teachers I've met, we don't condone, or allow, text talk nor most means of shortened communication in words. We don't use nor follow "lol", "plz", "thx", "y", "u", etc. because our generation didn't encounter them.
However, I'm an exception. I have lived most of my life in the 21st century. But it wasn't until 2012, when I joined EMC, that I started to understand this Internet language. After a few years, I'm now against text talk.
It's been making some adults concerned about my generation, and I'm with them too. I won't go too farfetched for now. All I'm saying is: in general, kids these days texting are more likely to have difficult times talking face-to-face.

I remember last reset when it was 1h30 late and I had all my gear ready, to just go mine on smp1......

Why does everyone hate on Smp8, chill guys we "smp 8ers" arent bad at all.
