        This varies so wildly it's hard to answer. The easy answer is they spawn VERY slow compared to all the other mobs. Wiki says 10% as often, but in my experience, it seems even slower than that.

        Hahaha sounds tedious... By the sounds of your large chest of slimeballs post you've obviously spent quite a while at your slime spawner :)
        Recently my friends and me found a slime chunk and im not entirely sure of its exact whereabouts but we've already encountered 2 slimes which I believe were spawned near this massive lava filled ravine. So I'm wondering what design did you use?
