Server Problems, Post Here!

  1. My shop notify doesnt work it works when i buy from others but not when ppl buy form me. ive talked to a few of the staff members and i talked to itsmematheus today and after trying evertything he thinks its becuase my name is to long to fit on a sing so he suggested i post the problem on here

  2. Just for clarification, his name on the sign shows as "PineappleAssasi". We tried turning on the shop notify thing, changing the Multiplayer settings, but no success. Anyone has any idea of what is happening? I don't remember players having issues with this.
    (Also, I told you to PM the devs, not post it here lol but I guess it works).

  3. I remember another player having this problem, so I can confirm it is because the name is too long. It was resolved, but I forgot what Aikar did to fix It. I may go through chat logs later tonight to look for the conversation we had afterwards. (The player was XDiamondxDiggerX.)

    Edit: I can't find the PMs. I control+f'd for the player's name for a few dozen notepad documents with no luck. I'd just say PM Aikar.

  5. All Contribution Team members do. That is how they know the exact details of the items they write wiki posts on, they read staff chat.

  7. They don't have access to chat logs... It's likely a mod that logs chat.

  9. Lol I know, just yanking chains. Chat is automatically logged by the client under AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\logs

  11. I worded that wrong, lol. Every player has "chat logs" - Staff can check server chat, but Contribs have no access to Square or Moderation tools. :)

    Your client tracks all chat that is displayed and puts it in a "logs" folder in your .minecraft folder.

  19. Anything of urgent nature should be handled via private conversation here on the site. Otherwise we do not want to see those issues in this thread...

    But to answer your original observation. Did you leave that webpage own for 3 minutes after you made that post (without refreshing for the next to display?)
