Hey, I think this would be a good xenFero add-on for EMC. (xenFero is the software used to run EMC's forums) The title sorta explains it all, I think an add-on which did live alert updates would be good What I mean by live-alert updates is other then having to refresh the page every time you want to see your alerts, it'd just update. It gets annoying to refresh a page every time you want to see your alerts (or have to scroll over the alerts thing) (Sorta like the youtube/google system of alerts) I also found that this causes people to slowly respond to things. There are already XenFero add-on for this here: https://xenforo.com/community/resources/live-update.274/ (You could also just have a setting for this so if you don't want it, you don't have to have it) Anyways, whatcha think?
I think this is a good idea because people dont like to refresh 24/7. (What I have is everytime I got a reply on a PM I can a email/works with alerts to).
maybe have staff change title to have [suggestion]? maybe more people will click. edit: they already did...
As with the other 3000 things we want to improve our forums with, were running too old of a version atm.... But, I am really considering putting the forum upgrade higher on the list here soon as I keep running into bugs that I cant do anything about due to our old version.
