  1. Hello everyone! I just joined the server but didn't play really just went through the rules and lurked around the forums a bit and it all looks really great. I think this server is everything I can ask for and I hope it lives up to my expectations. The rules are simple yet fair and mature and the forum design seems great. I am looking forward to playing on the server as soon as I have some more free time on my hands.

P.S. Sorry for my english its not my native language.
  2. Welcome to the Empire! I'm glad you're enjoying it here. :)

  8. Thank you all for the warm welcome! I have just one question (I'm sorry its a bit off topic) what is the server policy about speaking other languages? I just didn't see anything about it in the rules or I have just straight up missed it.

  9. First off: welcome to the Empire. And don't worry about questions; question's aren't off topic, never be afraid to ask questions. We're all happy to help you out here.

I know it's in there somewhere but....

The rules are two-fold. Basically: if you're chatting in public channels in-game you're required to use English. Because English is the main, officially supported, language on EMC. Public chat channels are town chat, economy chat, local chat, and so on.

But you're perfectly free to chat in your native language in private and semi-private channels. So; you can have a private conversation with someone (using /tell <playername>) or if you're with more friends together then you can use group chat (simply use /invite to invite players into the group chat, then use /ch g to switch to group chat and chat away).

Don't forget to use /ch t after you're done with group chat (to switch back to town chat).

I hope this clears a few things up for you.

  10. Welcome to EMC! Shelluser pretty much covered it with the policy on the language. What server are you planning on playing on? We have 1-9 and for supporters: utopia. I play on 7 but all of the servers have active communities thanks to the way new people are funneled in :D
  11. Thank you, its all clear now and it seems fair to me!

I don't really know yet because I just registered and never really went on a server but I will be doing that later today and I might check out server 7 ;)
  12. Welcome to the Empire! :) By the way, your English is just fine, don't worry about it. I am sure it is better than mine!! :D
