  2. Do you people know a better graphics card that is compatible for this build? Is yes let me know, thnx for your time.
  3. Hey general. Thats a great build you got there. I would recommend going for an Intel build for this. Maybe a Core i5 4460 should do it. There are so many upgrades you can get with intel. Also for your video card, its a great choice, though you can get a Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 for about the same price depending on which company it is from. Other than that, its a great build!

  4. I noticed that you have windows 7, which is a bit old. I hesitantly recommend windows 8 only because it is better optimized for games, I heard.

Although, both Win7 and Win8 get free upgrades to Windows 10 when it comes out.
  5. I have read on Anand Tech that there are some sound issues on windows 8 and 8.1. This might be an issue if you have a audio device with 7.1 surround sound as it may sound muddy and choppy as well. Just a heads up!

  7. get the hell away from amd. trust me, you don't want amd in your comp.
  8. While I am admittedly an Intel/Nvidia fanboy, I see no serious issue with AMD cpus/gpus. Why are you suggesting he avoids them?

  9. I'll stick to Windows XP for now, thanks. xD

But seriously, XP is the best, most reliable OS I have ever seen. Windows only supported some sort of audio channel up to Windows XP, which allowed me to record ANYTHING on my computer. Good for getting those hard to find pieces of music in close to 320kbps.

  10. What part of constructive posts you didn't get. Also the part that I will spend $500-$600 .

    No intel CPU atm.

Also I don't and can't spend more than $700 for my gaming setup.

And I don't have problems with windows 8.1, I have a laptop with 8.1, and it works way better than I expected. But windows 7 is more simple and better in the part of gaming. This is my opinion.

AMD CPU does not suport have atm SSDs. So I will go with the cheap 1 TB Western Blue.

  11. Good news for Asus GPU fans.

I decided to change the graphics card for the old but good GPU, the only, the ASUS R9270X-DC2T-2GD5 GPU.
  12. As a Windows 8.1 user; don't get Windows 8. Its a terrible OS and games run pretty poorly with it. I'd do anything to use Windows 7 again - but I can't, because Windows 8 doesn't let you change OS unless you get it from the Windows Store.
  13. Sorry, I didn't see that
  14. You make a good point. AMD is kinda "bang for your buck" sorta thing.

  15. I would suggest http://www.pcpartpicker.com/, You can plug in the parts you have chosen and actually get prices from most of the main suppliers. I am not biased to intel or amd. I work in IT and each have their ups and downs (most common problem with both)(The end user) LOL.
  16. Thats true.
  17. Ive used PC part picker for my recent build. It was very expensive...
  18. I was going to stay out of the Windows 8/7 thing going on here but I had to point out that what you said about the store is incorrect. You are not required to get operating systems from the store. There are plenty of guides online for changing the OS on a Windows 8 computer. Wiping your hard drive and installing another operating system can still be done. Everything you can do on Windows 7 can be done on Windows 8. There shouldn't be any problems with games on WIndows 8 but some hard ware combinations might not work as well as others.
  19. Did you... just say that...
