I should be able to pretty much get away with nearly any dimension since it's mainly just for a thumbnail, so any real preference would be that it's pretty much a square, or as close as you can get to a square.

I don't really see how that would be beneficial or relevant to EMC, I mean yeah they're both a big deal but I don't think either of them have ever played on EMC before. It may increase potential for people finding us when searching for them but... They're not really EMCers
