A few months ago in the wilderness frontier of SMP5, I was building an iron golem farm engineered by TangoTek. It's based on recreating villages and positioning them one after the other. However, I haven't been able to get it functional. I tried giving more time for the villagers to register and deregister doors, but it made no effect. My final guess after proceeding to another mob farm is: [This farm will not work in bukket(A modded Minecraft server)] because it does slow down of the game's processes, like 'natural' mob spawning. Also for another report, I'm planning to do a showcase of my new enderman farm soon on the EMC forums, or on SMP5!
This farm type was already tried several months ago, and those who have tried it have said that it doesn't work. It won't ever work.
I guess that's the conclusion.... Better to go tear it down sometime, but I had never of anyone on EMC trying to build it. Like, it's completely functional on traditional server like non-emc.
