I quickly dodged the tongue and it retracted back just a fast. "What the...?!" not many things surprise me but that... that was freaky. "Are you sure that thing's a bird?!" I hadn't paid much attention to her till now, "Infected Animals, what did you think? It was going to be fine, I don't think we can keep it..." I came to a complete stop as the wagon pulled up to a check point. Guard: "Hello." Rend: "We're on our way to Golach, which direction is it?" He pointed to the left, "Just head north and you should make it there before nightfall." We both had thanked him and asked our driver to head North, just then a gunshot echoed and a bullet had penetrated our driver's head. I grabbed the his rifle and looked through the scope. I saw a man at the bottom of the Southern hill, he had attempted to shoot the falcon but missed and hit our driver in the back of the head, I had aimed, and fired before the bandit could reload. Item Acquired: Single Shot Rifle (Can only be used once per page) Items Acquired: 20 Bullets Money added: 10 copper (from the driver's corpse)
After you arrive at Golach, you walk into the hospital and find a machine that can turn something into a remedy... You put in the Falcon Blood and inject the falcon. His tongue starts shrinking, as he turn back into a falcon.
I stared at the 'falcon', I'd stopped my quest to escape from the hospital for this animal, I cant just leave it here. "We- We cant just leave it" I said, holding out my arm as it hopped on and rubbed its head along my chest, making me smile "See? He likes me, I won't let him hurt you either" It was then the bullet flew past, just missing the falcon's head. But we weren't completely lucky as it hit our driver and killed him. Rend killed the distant bandit before he could reload and try again, so we were safe for now "I wonder why he tried to kill my falcon..." I thought Slowly, I got out of the wagon and looked down the road "Are we going?" I asked Rend Edit: Didn't see Princebee's post -.-))
I stroke his feathers again as a tester, they don't feel as much like scales now He does still have a slight discoloration, but I figure it wouldn't be that much of a problem since it makes him more noticeable I wonder if I can put my blood into the machine to help me I place my blood in, hoping it will work My falcon seems uneasy, so I let it out the window so it can have a fly around in a near forest I hope it comes back soon, I wouldn't be able to rest for a while if not
Somebody Sneaks Up Behind Me. I Knife them in the Tummy before he can stab me. A Strange looking figure stares at me from the front desk.
I use my new found power to scale the walls and leave the cave. I go to visit the blacksmith, and get an iron sword. (How much copper is 1 gold? I'm assuming it is more than 2 in equivalent so I can order a sword.)
I search the pyramid and find there to be 4 sections of the room, split like an X. The closest corner is the entryway, a red carpet trimmed with gold. To the sides there are statues of animal-headed people, and I think that they are Egyptian gods. On the right there appears to be some sort of maze. The left, a tomb. In the back of the pyramid, there is a throne. I choose to come back to that after I investigate the statues, as they appear to be faintly glowing with some sort of power. Princebee, what happens with the statues and after that, what is the throne for?
I was walking into the next room, I heard foot steps... All of a sudden I turned, and mid-turn I saw a computer... Everything went black.. Groaning, I dizzily get up.. Still a little dizzy, I begin trying to regain what happened.. "Ugh... So there was a person I was following... and then a... Computer hit me? What?" I stood up, and made sure I was in stable condition, before trying another round of remembering. I groan again, and I decide I wasn't going to get anywhere in here, so I headed out of the hospital. My plan was too go to the blacksmith and sharpen my dagger, and make sure I have proper food and such before I head out.. I can't get much more use from this town, much from the fact that everyone hated me.. I noticed it was night as soon as I left the doors of the hospital, and I got a little happiness from that. I quickly made my way to the blacksmith, unnoticed, of course, and I began grinding the dagger. I made sure I was being as quiet as I was, even if it meant I made little progress.... "It can wait.." I thought, as I smiled, as a rogue should be trained in patience. That is how they're to kill, and I will kill.
"Come on out! I don't want any trouble!" Rabbi calls out, wondering if there is someone following him.
Moments after Mira allows the falcon some freedom, 2 men come into the room guns blasting, one with a handgun and the other with a rifle. Luckily one sets off a small rope trap and trips, he chest lands directly on my Golden Dagger impaling him, the one with the handgun takes cover and fires from behind a machine my bullets can penetrate it so I place the gun off to the side and light a fuse. (2 matches used) Once the fuse reached the man it blew, obliterating him and putting a hole in the wall, from the hole you could see the town of Golach staring up at us and guards running into the building, just then the falcon returns fearing for his life it seems he was being shot at by the same people after us. Before the test was complete; I grabbed the blood, Mira, and the falcon whom I named so appropriately as Venom and jumped out the window into the river below.
As soon as I think my dagger is sharp enough, I touch the edge, and a small trickle of blood comes out. I smile, as I head towards the closed inn for a little... Scavenging. I leave the inn successful, as I grabbed what I could. (What did I grab..? xD) I quickly see a horse leashed to some stables somewhat out of town. I steal the horse, and head back to my old house. I take the remaining money out of my secret stash, and I begin heading to the next town.. Prepped and ready for battle. Prepped and ready for killing, that is. (Do I get any XP for successful thieving? )
We swam up to the surface of the river but we tried our best to be silent, so the guards wouldn't find us I quickly studied our escape routes: The hospital door was close, but going back wouldn't be the best idea There was 3 other options I could see, the nearby inn, the forest that Venom flew off to and the armory/blacksmiths I hear the guards shouting from where we jumped, we had to make a run for it or we'd be found I desperately looked at Rend, he usually knew what to do
