  1. Bummer. For real.
  2. This is exactly what happened...i wonder if it was lag or if it just didnt register that i moved...Thats what i get for trying to get a palindrome lot :(....and that lot had practically all of mine and ignoramoose's stuff on it (except the dragon egg thankfully) so if it cant get restored, we have decided to leave EMC which is heartbreaking. However, it would take forever to get back all our stuff....
  3. Hmm this is a good point, if you change res's and dont move it may not register you are in a new res yet. This is something I will have to look into. I will work on restoring that res from a backup tonight :) It will lose about half a days progress (backups are around 6:00am ET depending on the server and size).
  4. That would be amazing JustinGuy!!! I started doing preliminary research of other servers and am convinced that the empire is the best ever out there by far and I dont ever wanna leave :D In the future, im running around in circles on my lot before typing any res commands....

  5. Haha yeah sorry, I never thought of that before, I am already working on a fix :)
  6. So according to the "square log" pasted earlier, by mistake or in purpose, you unclaimed the residence where you had the stuff, now you threaten to leave the server if it doesnt get restored?

For instance I doubt there's a rollback feature on plots w/o rolling back the whole server "X number of minutes/ hours/days" and there's no log that shows what you had in your chests.

So if your "threat" is true, better be packing already
  7. You said you used /pset commands on a plot and that the flag command was set on the "other" residence...

what does that has to do with doing /unclaim + /confirm

Didnt you noticed you wree on a different plot when you typed both?

Failure to have spatial awareness is the players fault not the server's
  8. i almost got to say that she got haxxxed :p
  9. It is the servers fault, after tping to a lot and being in that lot, and running a command, the server thought they were in the previous lot still. I already found the bug :)
  10. well if the log shows that the commands where issued on the intended lot but executed on the "non-intended" lot I totally agree
  11. *Justin detects the bug and kill's it with a laser cannon, i mean, Justin fix the bug* :p
  12. Hooray justin! You won't believe the range she's went through today from crying sad to extremely happy.

I'm not sure about the state of your comments recently RaNiSiMa, it seems like you're just commenting to wind people up. And it seems like I'm not the only one since that's what people are posting to your profile page.

  13. posting on my profile... as if i cared about it...

Im just sick of ppl asking for stuff the way they do it and threatening to leave/revolt if their demands are not met.

thats not how stuff can be achieved...

if ppl gets winded its their own problem, some dont like the truth some others ask for suggestions/comments and when those doesnt agree with their ideas they attack the suggesters...

ppl think that playing for free (not your cases) entitles them to DEMAND stuff (all the "protect the wild threads")

Sometimes we (all) fail to realize that the server is just a mere extension of how big the supporter branch of EMC is, wiothout them this wont happen, however its not a server (as stated by Justin on another thread" thet jus installs plugins on-demand to meet all the "needs" players have

We all joined with a set of core rules and features already stablished, and it'll be changing what we signed up for to add features like those

yet ppl dont rememebr the tutorial, the empire guide and all of that and just DEMAND stuff
  14. people get emotionally attached to things, stating that they're going to leave I think is more a way to demonstrate the severity of how they feel on the subject more than using it as leverage to have things done their way.
  15. well, stating that "if it doesnt get fixed we decided on leaving" and "we already went in the search of another server" its more a threat than expressing how they feel as for emotional attachment goes

If you are emotionally attached to something, you do what it takes to stay/keep it... not the other way around saying "im gone" gotme?
  16. Just as apamment said, when you spend a HUGE amount of time on something, hours and hours of work, and it disappears, that's enough to make make you stop. I played Fallout New Vegas the day it came out, spent 12 hours playing it and it crashed. The autosave feature didn't work in the game and I lost all of that progress, it takes a long time to want to go back.

She went and looked at another server researching if there was anything out there. The gist of her message is that nothing beats EMC!

I'm thinking the language barrier is what's causing all the confusion. I understand what you are saying, but that's based on something different than what we are saying / others have said.
  17. Oh trust me, if I could, I would, but I don't have the funds to do so.
