  1. Hello I made a petition on the We The People which is run by the whitehouse and we need 150 signatures to make the petition public please sign it if you don't like YOLO

It basicly says that you shouldn't be allowed to say yolo in school because it goes against certain religions.

Anyways if you hate YOLO just sign it.

  2. Right erm, I know people hate YOLO, but this is taking it a bit too far lol?
  3. Well I'll just say I'm old bc I have no idea what YOLO is...
  4. It means

    You
    Only
    Live
    Once

and basicly it goes against religions that believe in Reincarnation and many others like the religion of Buddha and for people that believe in the Buddha religion when they go to a public school they hear everyone saying YOLO which is basicly dissing their religion
  5. Dear friends,
I wanted to let you know about a new petition I created on We the People, a new feature on WhiteHouse.gov, and ask for your support. Will you add your name to mine? If this petition gets 100,000 signatures by February 15, 2013, the White House will review it and respond!
We the People allows anyone to create and sign petitions asking the Obama Administration to take action on a range of issues. If a petition gets enough support, the Obama Administration will issue an official response.
You can view and sign the petition here:

Here's some more information about this petition:
Ban the thrase YOLO in Public Schools
Currently YOLO is said often in Public Schools. YOLO Means You Only Live Once Which kinda goes against the Buddha religion which believes in reincarnation. If the US is supposed to allow all religions how is it fair going to school and hearing everyone say stuff against your religion. Saying YOLO is the same thing as saying "The Buddha religion is wrong!!!!! EVeryone it's wrong its wrong its bs!! It's wrong!!!" Please sign this petition. Also please note I do not believe in the Buddha religion but I just really hate YOLO.
  6. Yup I'm sorry but I think that's a little silly. A petition to stop people from saying YOLO is far more oppressive than the people saying YOLO themselves.

EDIT: The government allows freedom of religion AND freedom of speech....

  8. I know that they do but it's still worth a shot.
Did the people in the new world give up because they probably wouldn't win? No they didn't.

*Insert meme about the dad in Everybody Hates Chris*
  9. Is it? IS IT?? ;)
  10. Maybe.
But I would take this more seriously if it was started by someone who was a Buddhist.
You pretty much said you only started this because you "really hate YOLO"
  11. Please help me sign this petition to stop people from using the internet because it's unfair to people in north-korea

    StopInternet.ThisThreadIsStupid.NorthkoreaGov.lol
  12. What does "thrase" mean? Also, is there a joke behind "EVeryone"? EV was a good set of games from Ambrosia, but I don't think it relates... Also, I want to start a pettition to ban multiple exclamation marks after a sentence, I think I could get some support. I do like the concept behind your petition, but the english language should be respected too in semi-official documents.
  13. I really don't like YOLO but I haven't done much about it other than whine about people saying it. This is almost as silly as trying to get the white house to build a death star.
  14. Don't forget to ban the phrase "Laugh out Loud" as this is unfair to those who cannot talk.

  16. I know alot of people who are buddhist who say YOLO. I hate it myself but it's only said by people with '#SWAG' - Justin Bieber and a few others, and then some of the Teenage population who should drill holes in their eyes.
  17. I'm not ashamed to say that I was disappointed about that :/
  18. I kinda was too, but then again we'd need all the countries on Earth to come together to even start thinking on how to build it, let alone get the money to build it.
  19. Best part is, if we made that petition it would probably pull through as all the Star Wars fans would sign lol
