The big difference... Farmville is glued into Facebook (possibly the most annoying site on the web) by the people who's business model is literally to take the ideas of others and replicate them, Zynga. It's annoying to see "Mark Troll harvested corn!" every few minutes on your wall... Dragon Cave's only social integration is the clicks the eggs need to grow, and you can get that through click sites anyway. There's a sense of achievement when you get a rare egg before somebody else, unlike harvesting 5000 what crops on the trash they call Farmville. It's fun to get a collection of eggs. Also, it's 100% FREE. /end rant
Well, that and getting, say, a Holly Dragon, probably the rarest dragon on Dragcave. THAT'S something to feel proud of, not getting a couple stupid chickens or so in Farmville.
Unlike everything these days. You don't need some stupid membership or anything. Although I probably will stop using it if it gets caught in Disney's endless tirade.
