is you can make a huge 1 capable of making at least 10-25 obsidian at a time.. he would have PLENTY

I can get you some obsisian. There is a obsidianized lava lake near my house. I also have a Eff. V pick.

Lets see - a tunnel 4000 blocks long with 4 obsidian on each side + 6-8? on the ceiling = 40,000+ blocks of obsidian.

Yes if you make 10-25 blocks each time you should have plenty.

Also I think the specs call for 4000 pistons.

It's not a bad idea, but redstone signals won't transmit through unloaded chunks. Even though the chunk that's being modified will be active the loaded chunk radius isn't enough to get it all the way to the outpost.

Basically redstone won't light the signal unless you're in that chunk it sounds like.

Ok. I did not know about this. I will then put some extra torches in. Also to the people wanting to supply obsidian. I will try to get to the outpost soon and I will set up a place in which you can supply obsidian. Also if you want to help out just say here. I may not get to the outpost for a while though.

Most of the people offering Obsidian stay out there. That's the convienient thing of living on another server instead of trying to live in town on 7 and wild on 7. If you're not gonna be out there for a while then um...why not just let people know when you can get out there?

just dont hold me on quality. just because i was in a choir at school (forcibly) doesnt mean i had to actually sing i just had to look happy and lip sync.

I just finished an inspection of the rail to spawn and there are many lava lakes on the side so it would be good if a team could go through and turn it all into obsidian.

true that, redstone won't become active in any unloaded chunks (at least in my testing, may be a bug) so idk if that is such a good idea

I am sick and was in hospital half the day so lol. Also we need a new crafting table in our house as I have over 30 levels in xp now.

I would like to make another proposal for rail system upgrades. I propose joining the brown, obsidian and red lines together but with a full two way railway. You would then rename and re colour the line and call it the circle line as it circles around the central part of the outpost.

Their are too many house and farms in the way to do that
