rebooting my pc dont work and rebooting the launcher doesnt work either
  7. To stummihouse and kimstr, have you two by chance updated to Minecraft 1.2? If you have, then that may well be the issue, as the EMC servers are still running 1.1.
  8. aha so that is the problem, the server is outdatet
  9. it's so! thanks!
  10. Yes, the server is "outdated", but that's because EMC is a heavily customized setup and it takes time to make sure all the plugins and the server itself are updated and free of serious bugs. JustinGuy is working hard on getting it done as soon as possible, and according the the 1.2 Update Status thread, it seems the only thing we're really waiting on is for Bukkit to get finished with their updates. After that we should be good to go.

In the meantime, if you want to downgrade to 1.1 so you can connect to the servers as they are, you have a few options:

You can try using MCNostalgia, which is a diff patcher to downgrade MC back to 1.1. It requires that your current minecraft.jar is entirely unmodified, however.

Someone had mentioned using Digiex Minecraft Launcher, which allows you to switch between different versions easily. If you choose to use it, I would suggest reading what there is to read in regards to its use.

And another suggestion, given by Zabriel, was to go to your .minecraft folder (C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft <-- On Windows 7), right click on the "bin" folder and choose the "Previous Versions" tab. From there select a date prior to updating, then click Restore. With luck, that will include your old minecraft.jar in its v1.1 form.
  11. I would like to know who clicks "no", when the game asks "do you want to update the game" :)
I hope this thing don't get me deleted from the server.
  12. I clicked no cause I pay attention when I come to this site and see justin's post that have been posted for a month stating when the update is available not to update because it will take time to update the server.
  13. i havent tried in a while but is the server up to date at the moment?
  14. Yes.
