A whole stack of TNT was wiped from my inventory during the presidential party earlier today. I couldn't put in my vault before I left the staff hosted area because it would not allow it. I'm a bit miffed that such a thing happened on a otherwise fun event. I checked my inventory in the games lobby, funland, pvp area, staff hosted area, and the firefloor arena and it shows nothing. I even checked all pages on my vault.
I think in previous events I've been to your inventory is wiped when you leave the staff hosted area. I'm not sure if that's what happened here, but it's a possibility.
I personally think that's what happen. And if so it would have been nice if Staff allowed us the use of our vaults during the event.
There are only a few places on /games server that /vault can be accessed. We host a number of different events on the staff-hosted res' and sometimes there are renamed items, or OP items that we don't want players to keep. Therefore, almost always we wipe inventory as you leave the res. So sorry for the confusion.
Regular TNT is considered OP now? This is going nowhere. Instead at this point, I would rather just take the rupee hit and buy another stack.
TNT isn't considered OP, however, we rarely change the flags on those res' - in other words, the event was not designed to have players keep anything. Sorry again for any confusion.
What I think is unclear from your posts: did you take the items into the event, or did you acquire the items during the event?
Sorry, that I failed to make it clear. But I got the TNT during the event. From the diamond box build with the chest that says "goodie bag". Staff were throwing the TNT out to people.
