Just a Small FYI for any Canadians here;

Using this is illegal under the Criminal Code of Canada and can be sent to court and charged and even jail. If you use it to harm or even self protect yourself.

"You're allowed to try and get your belongings back," Nichols says, but under Section 38 of the criminal code, "you can't strike or cause bodily harm to the person that's stealing your stuff."

This applies to anyone trying to pick a fight with you. That moment when you use this tool on someone, your at fault as its a weapon and can be treated as if it is a gun under the Criminal Code of Canada.

Didn't expect this response, alright. (I had expected a more defensive answer)
But yeah, if you're not doing any strange things, this doesn't seem necessary or considerate to carry on you. Unless perhaps you live in a dangerous neighbourhood, but I hope most people here don't. Moreover, even then, you might only provoke more violence by using a weapon such as this.
