True true, maybe in the nuke zone in the desert, little or none build there and it's a central location. Let's hear what other members think this might solve the problem
I think it should be on the grass to the north of the town hall and just to the south of the community workshop. Where the member board is.
This is pretty hard, places where it looks like would be perfect for a station is probably someone's area. :l
I kinda figure we'd run into complications like digging right into the various establishments below the guest housing there. Could always dig deeper, though.
There is no constructions under that area that I know of. If you develop it up and connect it to the current town hall it would look and be good.
Oh I was thinking of the one towards the middle. If you look at Jellyface's creeper head then go up til you see sand with grey spots that's it. Also, is there a reason the G on the front of the guesthouse is backwards?
sfgiantsrule. He came along many weeks ago, built a lovely house and then never came back. You'd be very welcome to move in but it's probably worthwhile trying to contact him. I've seen him online a few times. Though I warn you the water is fast disappearing Maybe we need to build a tranquil seaside resort nearby.
xD Oh alright. I've been trying to figure somewhere out. I like the view of the water and such. I love the jungle house but sometimes it feels crowded :/
I was going to make a clever remark about decisions being made by those who show up but now the pirate pad isn't working so I can't. We've discussed this on the pad, everyone agreed the town hall was a good spot and Bob, who owns it, is cool with changing it as long as he is included in the changes. But there's no reason why we can't change that decision. It just means more discussion, more people need to be consulted etc etc. I think some building in that area is best for the hub (town hall, FAQ building, grass) as that place is central to the other main population areas and has the most facilities for people to visit. If the hub is in the desert I'd never use the rail links, i'd just run to the town centre like i do now. It'd be good if we can decide where the direct lines are going to go as that'd be the easiest way to decide on the most central location. So far the lines discussed are white harbour, to the south rail hub, to the jungle (and lighthouse?) and to the beachhouse. Hopefully the pirate pad will be fixed soon. arrrrggggggggggh tech support!!!!
I had the idea of the town hall in the first place and bob decided to build it for me. The idea is that we can hold community meetings in it. Not have a train line in it. I really like the idea of having it on the grass where the member board is and just moving the member board. If you extend the roof and build it to look like the stone building I think it will look awesome as a train station. Trust me I have designed and visited a few train stations etc in my lifetime and they all had a similar style which looks like the stone town hall building. If you move the FAQ board and make that a line info board it could turn out really good and helpful.

Eclipsys built the fountainy thing across from the Guest house and from what I thought/heard it was supposed to be a town hall and garden.It's so far became a fountain, tree farm, garden, and now faq and member board. I seriously DO NOT want to rewrite the stuff on those signs. If we put the town hall there we'd need to knock out the minecart station there to make it big enough to have room enough for everyone. IN the one currently built, it looks a lot like a station, but either way I placed a long table in there anyway so it can be either the town hall podium thing or a "ticket counter"
But just to state again I have very strong opinions and will stick to them until someone gives me an essay with 1000+ words station why they should use the town hall building as a rail station.
