Twice I've noticed a voting confirmation and I don't know who it is. If you are going to vote for me, please let me know before I start thinking hacker and locking down again. If it was an accident, whoever it was, you are forgiven. Please pm me here or in game if you know anything about this. The reason I am doing this is because I'm very very very prone to hacking. Anyone could have done it, anyone can put your name in a voting site. I often do it to new players, so they know they get rewards from voting, and they start doing it themselves, or just as a joke. I wasn't the one who did it to you thou
Now I suddenly understand "that comment". First: it wasn't me. But more importantly: do NOT "lock down" because of this. Don't freak out. Because everyone can basically vote for everyone if they want to. There is nothing "hack'ish" about this nor do you have to worry about people possibly abusing your account or more. When people vote for you then all that means is that they added your name when they voted on one of the websites. And everyone can get your name. I mean... "Sadie_dog" right? If I wanted to (I won't) I could vote for you right now with that knowledge. But please don't freak out. Maybe that's what some players wanted and if so I hope I bursted the bubble: you're in no danger, you're not being hacked. All which is happening is that you get rewards on the Empire for their votes. You're all safe here.
