So I've got a Merc head and am not a huge collector of staff heads, so I'm going to sell it. I've already got someone willing to purchase, but neither of us knows the price of it. If you know/would like to offer, comment below or PM.
who? value is based off rarity and "knownness" of the staff member which is to say i literally have never even seen that name so cant be that well known (maybe im wrong but meh) going off their forums footprint it doesnt look like they are particularly active but maybe they are present on a server i dont hit up much. if thats the case check on there to see how much people want it.
well then establish if they have given out their head much, if not it has rarity. then start asking around to the various museums and collectors
unless someone has bought one before you probably arent going to get a price that makes any sense. and most collectors arent going to read a thread about a head they already have. so you kinda gotta do some leg work.
They have only very few heads out there, (I am currently a holder). They are still Currently a Staff Member and do moderation on the forums, but are busy IRL from their new job and IRL other stuff to have much time to get online.
lol bitemenow you've seen me plenty in game lol. And my head is pretty rare, as I don't sell them or give them away on request- only for winners of randomly chosen events. I am trying to keep track of who has them on this thread.
Look, Staff heads don't really have a specific price like promos. Since it's pretty rare and very few have been sold before, you can basically set the price yourself. I wouldn't set the price over 800k and not under 200k. Somewhere along those lines. I know that wasn't very specific, 200-800k, that's the weird thing with staff heads.
whhhat she isnt SS mod heads typically dont sell for that much even rare ones 200k would be like the max, id say somewhere between 70k and 200k based on its rarity
Not to be rude but you don't seem to know the Staff head market. There are lots of Staff heads that aren't SS that go for well over 200k. Such as DarkMod (and he ain't even staff no more)
ive seen and sold staff heads (including my own) for higher numbers too, but we arent talking about all staff, we are talking about a particular one. and that one (to be curt) just does not seem that valuable to me. i could be wrong but am not really proven wrong until one of you are willing to pay that much for that head so...i guess nut up? lol comparing other staff head transactions is silly, there are just as many that go for almost nothing (like shaunwhite) one staff head does not equal another. my approximate value (based on some digging that ive done since my first post in here) is clear edit: also padde what non SS head have you seen go for 800k? where is your baseline for that kind of number? if you are going to say someone does not understand the staff head market and then make a ridiculous claim like that id enjoy some form of evidence supporting your claim?
As you said in your first post price is based off of rarity and "knownness" of the staff member. Which is why I would put that price, maybe not as high as 800k but atleast 200k for Crow's head since it's pretty rare. My final opinion: 200-500k give or take
