dye voter's armor?

  1. I feel like I'm missing something obvious here...

Empire Minecraft Wiki: "Voters armor can be dyed and washed in cauldrons in the same way that normal leather armor can be dyed and washed."

So I washed my voters helmet in a cauldron and that removed the dye, but I can't figure out how to apply a new dye. I've tried a crafting table, inventory crafting, cauldron... how is it done?

  2. I believe you need 8 pieces of whatever colored dye surrounding the item you want to dye in the crafting table.
  3. It should work in the player crafting grid, unless there is a bug that prevents it from being dyed. Also make sure to only use 1 dye at a time
EDIT: after trying it, the crafting is bugged as the final tag is seemingly keeping if from being crafted. IE: It shows up as craft able for half a second, then disappears.

  4. Yeah can confirm as I too have also tried it.

  5. No luck so far. Well as long as it's a bug and not a removed feature, I'll just sit tight and wait with my now mismatched voters armor. >_<
  6. They can be washed (-(?

I have personally found I can die in any armour... :p
