This thread is solely for the purpose of feedback for what I've come up with and have already submitted a suggestion form for. This is a promo for Valentines Day The Wings of Hathor: Hathor was the Egyptian Goddess of the sky, love, beauty and music. She was often depicted as part cow and part falcon. The promo in question would be her falcon forms wings. These wings won't be so easy to obtain though, for you see, Hathor is still alive. And she's been spotted on EMC! To obtain the wings you would have to defeat her while she's vulnerable in her cow form. Here is a video I made of a test version of what the Hathor mini-boss would be like. I dont like the part in which you have to kill a love god to show your love to her(just seems ironic)... but great thingy
She wasn't exactly known for her loving tendencies though. One depiction says she was a blood thirsty warrior.
I think like unbreak 5 or 6 would be preferred as we would use them for flying. Other than that, the wings would not see any real use. And as a new type of promo, elytra based, i would love to try them out.. But not at a 50k loss.
I think it shouldent be final, then nobody would use them to "preserve its worth" :c Also im thinking wings of Aphrodite would be a better as shes more well known
This is really cool. I love how its the Wings of Hathor because Ik a lot about Greek/Egyptian/Norse/etc.. Gods and Goddesses and Hathor is one of my favorite Egyptain Goddesses =3 +11111

Hmm, Hathor? Well if any of you know I'm the mythologist in house (or I at least like to think I am) and this to me could be interesting. It was said above me that the final would prove a problem and I agree. Though I just don't like it because you lose a cool item for using it, for the market there is that too, but I've been asked if a promo that doesn't even have durability if it was used before. So even if it was final people would still care if it was used. Overall I give the idea a 8/10.
Gonna Reiterate my point: Unbreak 4-10 Would be recommended especially if we can use it with fireworks. Unless emc was to allow fireworks to do less durability damage to the wings. (Its way easier to add a higher unbreak enchant). I do believe this should be in its Final State. I would not Want them to be repairable Because Occasionally I do buy and sell Promos. I also like using promos Too. I feel if these are repairable they'll be just like Blizz Parts, Used a lot but Always around and thus the prices are a lot lower. Basically, AS such EMC staff has done a great job balancing Promos, I think they'll find the perfect balance. I would love to seem them as being usable / worth it to use them As well as Collected!
I agree, as I said earlier I only suggested it with unbreaking III because there are only a few instances I can think of where non-vanilla enchantment levels have been used so I figured it would be more acceptable. For the sake of usefulness though the unbreaking should definitely be higher. I also think they need to be final, like all promos. Final not only stops people from repairing them(which imo is very important for the promo market) but it also prevents people from renaming promo items.
