Are we the only Canadians #NovaScotia Ps I'm not technically a Canadian but I'm a citizen #germanbloodbornandraise then I moved
Canadian elections? Canada has politics? Are they better than America's nominees? EDIT: just realized that you prob don't know our choices. I will read up on this supposed Canadian government.
I know America choices those buffoons the only person I think would be good for your country is Carly Florina and Ben Carson as Vice pres
Hopefully you guys will catch the trump disease. Maybe he will become more interested in you Canadians instead of his fascination with Mexico. Most likely not, though. One can only hope. Plus, he can save money by not having to build a giant wall to stop Canadians from coming into the U.S.
Same here, I like how he really helps students by making plans for students to help pay for college. The others say that, but then make the country go broke, haha.
For Canada's sake, I hope Tom Mulcair or Justin Trudeau win. The UK had a Conservative Party win in May this year, and things aren't pretty (poverty is on the rise and stuffs <3). Most Canadians I know want to cut Stephen Harper into little tiny pieces, so there's that, too...
Liberal's have won a majority government, Stephen Harper to step down as leader of the Conservatives.
Those two are as much "buffoons" as the rest of them ;-) So did trudeau win or did I read something wrong?
Oh yes, I forgot about the conflict of interest systems used in Canada and the UK.Thanks for clarifying Wait no... still confused
So basically on election day in Canada day you go to the polls and elected the Member Of Parliament for your riding. Each party can field one candidate in each riding. The party who's members have been elected in the most riding's forms government. If that party has the most seats AND has more than 50% of the seats, they form a majority government. If a party has the most seats BUT did not get 50% or more of the total seats they form a minority government.
Oh.... I get it now. Its another political gimmick. I assure you that US government, federal and state government are not SUPPOSED to work that way. Makes sense why people would think that though... considering. The vote in and of itself isn't exactly what I was confused about but the whole government structure.
