I just read that shooting an animal with Cupid's bow allows them to breed, but I can one-shot quite a few animals with a bow. How does this work? Take a weak shot and hope it's weak enough? Or is this just a point of trivia that nobody uses?
In town, at least, you can do "/res set animaldamage f" which will make your animals invincible. I'm not sure if it does damage or not, but if you're going to eggify the babies then it's best to breed in town anyway. I think it's only really worth it to use the cupid bow on horses since their normal food is so expensive.
