There’s a lot of concealed tricks you probably didn’t know about that are available on EMC, so this time around we’re looking at minecraft commands! Have a suggestion for tricks, or a topic? Comment below!
- /res list [name]
Res list is a residence feature that lists the plots your account has on the server your connected to. That being said, it doesn’t list residence numbers, however, it’s very useful if you have a lot of alts!
- Chat: use of @ and @@
For some of you new players out there, are you sick of having to switch channels all the time to send one message? Solution! The @ commands are chat shortcuts that were introduced a long time ago. One @ allows you to send a quick one time message (as well as /qm) to any chat channel or person, for example “@t Hello!” Two @@’s allow you to quickly reply to the last person who sent you a private message, like this: “@@Heya!” – be careful though, you can sometimes accidentally send a PM to someone who slips in after that person.
- /who
This is another one of the reasonably well known commands, however it’s still much more useful than the “Tab” that you kids use now! It has numbers, organises by titles and even lets you know how many people are in the tutorial.
- /tps
Have you been lagging? TPS lets you confirm that that block lag you’re getting is actually the server. If it’s way under (approximately) 19.91 for a few hours, this is one of the commands that really helps the Dev Team know when there’s a problem!
Stay tuned, because next time we’ll be taking a look at the wonderful forums, and boy do they have some tricks you can take advantage of!
