A Minecraft Blog about the Empire and Minecraft

Improving your Minecraft Experience

March 29, 2014 by kevdudeman 3 Comments

By Minecraft Experience, I speak of fun, not experience points! Having fun both in the empire and regular Minecraft might not seem so easy at times, but there’s always something you can do to keep things fresh.

Feeling like you’re doing the same thing over and over? This could be shop selling, res building, or sometimes just sitting there with nothing to do. Relying on one of the best parts of Empire Minecraft can really help you out here, and that’s our community! You don’t have to go begging for people to be friends and entertain you, just getting out there and talking can accomplish that. Other people can really improve your Minecraft Experience, it’s why most people play on multiplayer! I don’t think social advice is necessary, but just being a person people actually want to speak to will help you there. Give a link to the wiki AND a few helping words if people are a bit clueless in chat.

However, not everyone can see being a social butterfly as something besides a downgrade in their time efficiency. Simply switching your focus doesn’t need much explanation. Getting burnt out in your attempts to hold the highest rupee balance? Perhaps moving out to the wild and living in the roots of Minecraft (with a bit of Empire additions to keep it fresh) can also improve your Minecraft Experience.

In some cases a lack of proper inspiration can be your problem. Going back to the first suggestion of community involvement can really help here. Everyone you talk to here has their own brain, let it help you out if you’re out of ideas! If pure thought from both you and your friends can’t inspire you to do things, wandering around town and looking at other residences might inspire you, just make sure the idea is at least a little original if you fear the power of an angry res owner!

Sometimes though a short (maybe long!) break can be the best thing. Coming back after breaking the old routine for a bit can really make things better for you! So if you’re ever jumping around, wishing for something to do, just remember that the game still has fun times for your future!
