  4. Yes, If you go to the servers page ( http://empireminecraft.com/servers/ ) you can click on the Live map for your server.

    There is a list of players on the right. Click on your name and the map will centre on you.

    The red squares on the map are the protected areas. Once you get back to the red square area, you can type /home to get back to your plot.
