I was wondering why the wilderness wasn't connected to the nether cause I built my own nether portal and was very disappointed to find out I can't get their from my home in the wilderness. Are their any plans to fix it or is this just something that is never going to happen?
We only have one Nether and it is connected to the Wasteland. In order to connect the wilderness to the nether we would have to create another one. And the truth is we already have 5 worlds and can't add many more without starting to impact performance (4 would actually be a better number). I could have Wilderness portals take you to the current Nether but then if you got back into the portal you would be taken to the Wasteland and I think that would be kind of awkward. Unless you are trying to hide from the live map the wasteland really is the "main" world, so if you haven't gotten too much done I would recommend going with the Wasteland.
