Why would tamed cats and dogs disapear?

  1. I keep having this problem where my tamed cats and dogs disappear whenever I leave the area. Its not all the time and it isn't all the animals. Its only a few of the cats and dogs and only in town.
    It is very frustrating.
    Any help at all would be appreciated.

  2. Are you feeding them? If so, is it a balanced diet?

  3. Are they teleporting to you by chance? Cats and dogs have always been very buggy.

    if they are off the res it can get them in a riskier state with the entity limiter, but it SHOULD be sending them home.

    Have you checked the entire res? they could be teleporting to a different location

  4. I could wander around my res, but I am afraid to leave the ones I tamed.
    I never do find them at spawn though.
