The Mob Drop Shop @ 18617, smp9

Update 8/1/15 - The Mob Drop Shop has been permanently closed. A bug after the 1.8 update allowed a glitch enabling a griefer to use water to knock down/steal several hundred heads from the outside display. I have repaired all of the damage, head for head, utilizing several pics I have of the res. I value the head collection more then sales from the shop and don't want to expose it to any future risk.

The huge inventory may be moved next door to The Hoard @ 18721 at a later date. In the meantime, if you require drops in bulk, feel free to PM MatthewDA and we'll see about setting something up.

Those are awesome prices and this is a great idea! If you wanted to get more customers you might consider listing your shop on my site (in my signature). I get about 100 searches daily and it's growing. A discount shop like yours would probably top the list because it's organized by price. It doesn't take too long to add your stuff, either using the auto-reader or bulk adder. If you have any feedback on the site please let me know! I'd love to hear what you think.

Mob Drop Shop was recently marked as "out of string" on azoundrias awesome market tool (see above). Each of the standard hostile mob drops and some others (like ink) are stocked to the ceiling with 10+ DCs available. If someone has come in before you and purchased the four immediately available SCs, it'll take time for the loaded chunk to restock through the hopper system. If you come in and find Mob Drop Shop "out", give it a few minutes as the chests are most likely auto restocking. ty!

Could you maybe add more buy signs higher up so customers don't have to wait and can instead just climb a ladder?

Thanks for the suggestions, but I've actually set it up with extra signs as well as hoppers to drop more items in the past. It came down to aesthetics and I didn't care for the extra "clutter" The build was done with glass walls and ceilings to keep it as open as possible (it was originally open, waiting for stained glass), with few sign distractions, to encourage people to look, and go, outside (the head pit was the final stage added).
I thought at the time that the hopper drop system for restocking would work great and it may one day if this is true (read the next to last post from Aikar).
We'll see. In the meantime, I ask shoppers to be patient if it's restocking. I manually move items down and try to park there on busy weekends, etc.
Besides, prices are great...it's worth waiting!

How about putting two hopper instead of one between each chest and cutting the time in half? I think it might look better as well, more balanced and symmetrical. Or is that what you did already?
