So I just logged into a server in which I KNOW I'm in town, and went to get a drink. However, for whatever reason, it arbitrarily decided to switch me to a server where I'm deep in the nether, upon login. Then, it spawned netherhounds and killed me. Why does it do the random server switching?
I think I've seen a fallback behavior for failed connections. If the connection to my last server fails I get punted to smp1 or something like that. I think I use the play.emc.gs DNS which isn't specific like the smp7.emc.gs form, in case this is different from what you use.
i am showing that you logged out on smp1 last night... which is where you logged in. If you were trying to direct connect, there is a client bug that cause the dns query to fail which may of messed up direct connect and made it just default to last server you were on.
